Have you ever felt so full of energy, ideas, goals you want to accomplish that it felt constricting?  You are mission-oriented and there is so much you want to accomplish that even in the beauty of your goals, there is some tightness because there is so much to do and one you.  Or, you may feel constricted thinking through some solutions to current challenges, or bumps along the way of implementing your goals.

I learned the technique of gratitude as a young child.  I got a download of finding one thing to be thankful for each day, no matter how small and it shifted my day.  I remember being thankful for tator tots at lunch on a day when they weren’t on the menu. Wow, I can still taste those crunchy tator tots with the hot insides.

Because I have been practicing this technique for many years, it now has new meaning.  I realize that when I go into gratitude, it creates spaciousness.

Along our journeys we can get so focused on what’s ahead that are less connected to the gratitude that lives in how far we’ve come.

When I think about the concerns that I have today and how they differ from my concerns in the past, I am in gratitude of my journey that brought me to this point and this contemplation.  When I think about all of the things I want to accomplish and apply gratitude, I realize if the passion was instilled in me, it will come to fruition if I stay the course.  Like you, I am invested in my goals for the long haul and want to not just check an item off of a list, but to realize the full intention of the goal.  That takes time, intention, enrollment and perseverance.

Spaciousness gives us room for our greater insight to meet us.  Spaciousness opens room to receive new information or to give room for our existing information to move and form new connections that spark innovation.

Gratitude is a #key2success that builds with meaning over time.  We may have one experience with gratitude that shifts and deepens as we practice with gratitude or have an abundance of experience with gratitude.

Our keys to success are always operating in our lives.  But when we become present to them, and intentional about them, we begin the experience of practice that leads to mastery.
