What is your purpose diet? How are you feeding your purpose?  How are you taking care of the body that will execute your purpose?

While developing my goals for 2018, I developed some health goals. So here I am again with health goals that I struggle to keep.

I develop goals with a why because the why is what keeps my commitment going especially when I am faced with obstacles.

Something in me shifted when my why changed to “because I have to take good care of the body that will execute my purpose.” Yes! That why lit me up and I knew I was embarking on a new threshold of commitment.

In my video, EP 3: Purpose Told Through the Life of the Butterfly, I discuss how the ravenous appetite of the caterpillar phase in the transformation of the butterfly.  During our path to purpose, we experience phases when we are devouring information as it relates to our purpose.  Our growth is phenomenal because we are in flow with our design, our blueprint.  The growth I am referring to is our growth of insight, knowledge and purpose.

I am awakening to the truth that purpose diet is also literally how we feed our body, the vessel that is going to do something with all of the insight, knowledge and purpose.  I realized that if I do not take care of my vessel, I will not be able to sustain all the wonderful action I am taking and will take in the future.

How do you know your purpose diet?

We know our purpose diet by checking in to our body.  We know our knowledge and experience based purpose diet by what is feeding our curiosity and passion. We also know our knowledge and experience based purpose diet by what comes in response to our sincere asks.

Our body will tell us what is good for us by how it reacts.  One of my children has a lot of food allergies and her specialist recommended keeping a food diary so that we could isolate what is no longer working for her body.  You also know your physical purpose diet by how your body responds to foods (lag data or response data) and also what information you are amassing about health that sparks you on your path to purpose (lead data or new data you are amassing to leverage).  There are also miraculous downloads that are responses to your sincere asks.

Before I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease or dis ease, I offered the sincere ask to cure these strange happenings in my body or give me the knowledge of what was going that many specialists could not figure out.  Within days I awakened in the middle of the night to a PBS special that outlined my symptoms with natural dietary cures!

Knowing the divine nature of the cures that were best for my body did not completely deter my behaviors!  I had a stop and start pattern with making changes that were good for my health.  I am continuing to unlock my emotional attachment to food and eating patterns that are unhealthy for my body.

In 2018 I am beginning an intentional, full-bodied approach to feeding my purpose.  My body has informed that it loves a green food diet with a lot of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory foods and herbs and no coffee.  On this leg of my path to purpose, my knowledge based purpose diet is focused on connecting, building communities and purpose enrollment.

What is your purpose diet? I’d love to know.  Once you share it, you will gain a community of accountability partners and supporters.
